Jackson Harden is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, performing musician and music instructor originally from Utah who now resides in Concord, NC. He got his start in music at an early age when he began taking guitar lessons, now his primary instrument of over 20 years. At the age of 13, he took first place in the 2009 flatpick guitar contest at the Utah State Instrument Championships. In high school he began teaching guitar lessons to kids in his neighborhood. He is an official Breedlove Guitar sponsored artist. Over the last two decades his repertoire has expanded to the piano, banjo, ukulele, bass guitar, lap steel guitar and harmonica. 

In 2019 he graduated from Snow College with a Bachelor of Commercial Music degree and a thorough education of music theory, technique, ear training, composition, audio production, and a wide range of genres and musical styles. 

Since moving to North Carolina in 2022, he has been regularly performing around the Southeast and recording his own original music. He is a 3-time finalist of the Don Gibson Songwriter Symposium, finalist of the 2025 LEAF Songwriting Competition, and a semi-finalist of the 2023 International Songwriting Competition. In addition to his solo work, he enjoys collaborating with other musicians in bands and other projects as a member of Sea Elephant, Across the Snow, Chore Coat, Blue Jay Way, and jhard. Several of his compositions have been featured in films and documentaries. 

Jackson has been teaching private music lessons for over a decade and enjoys passing along the skills and knowledge that he has gained over the years.
